A Range for the At Home Chef

I'm loving this Frigidaire Professional range. I was excited to get a 6 burner stove in a 30" as this is rare. The burners seem to regulate the heat very well. On other stoves, the large burners seem to cook too fast even on the lowest settting. The backlit knobs are very aesthetically pleasing. The glide out oven rack is a great added bonus. I have not yet used the air fryer feature but the oven rack specific for air fryer use is awesome. Most of these features are new to me and I'm glad we splurged on this range. I highly recommend!

Stove works and looks great. Love the simmer burner but the lettering on the knobs are small especially the oven knob. The font is thin and smarty small. The contrast could be better as well. I like all the options and six stovetops burners. Maybe you can make some better knobs and send me a set and all would be well. Just a set of oven knobs would help. You can see the burners so you can adjust as needed.

So far we are enjoying this new stove/oven. We love the look of it, it totally elevates the look of the kitchen. One down side we have noticed is how difficult the lock function is. It is very challenging to get it to lock, it takes multiple tries to get the right touch. We do like having this function and use it often. We also wish the lock function prevented the burners from turning on.

Perfect stove for our remodel. Its spacious. I like the sliding racks. The middle grill can be replaced with the griddle, which keeps the stove cleaner. I like its low back. The air fryer is really great. Still haven't figured out how to use the meat thermometer. Looks great. Clean design. I'm glad we chose this size instead of the 36 inch that our designer wanted to put it. This is functional and somehow more minimal.

We have had our new stove for a few weeks now. We had it delivered and installed. The unit looks great. It has the professional look we were wanting. The stove cranks out the heat, especially the high btu burner. It looks like a camp fire when turned all the way up. Only thing I wish was different was if they pushed the outside burners closer to the sides to create more room and center pans on the grates. The oven has been great. It did take some breaking in. Still playing with all the settings. So far so good.

The best stove / oven my wife and I ever owned. It™€™s a commercial home classic look.. it bakes evenly and fast. The air bake works amazing on meat just watch how long you cook with it as you can dry it out if you are not careful. Oven works excellent on roasts. The brush nickel stainless steel is smudge proof and wipes clean easily. Nothing bad to say here except it can be pricey but worth the purchase as I owned Wolf and Viking stoves this stands up very nicely to them and it has all the computing technology to help you bake with as his a probe to put in the meat and help you roast to perfection.. 5 stars from us on this stove..

We had purchased a new range from a different manufacturer 3 years ago, but our home wasn't completed and range installed until 1 year ago. From the beginning that range did not work correctly in many different ways. It was declared 'unfixable' and we were given a store credit. After a lengthy time of trying to choose and research other ranges we decided on the Frigidaire Pro Gas Range and are extremely happy with it. There are burners that actually go low enough to simmer! The knobs on the front do not heat up when the oven is turned on. The oven doesn't shut off indiscriminately. The griddle works great and so does the oven. This oven is much larger than any other we had seen in a 30" range. The gliding rack is wonderful! We love our new range!!

Hands down the worst oven I have ever owned. The day of delivery/install, the oven gave me an F16 error. Over the next few weeks, it continued to show an F16 along with an F22 error - all communication issues. I contacted Frigidaire who sent sent a technician out to fix the issue (it took a month because the tech had to order the part from Frigidaire). I believe he replaced the relay board. It worked for a few months but a few weeks ago started showing the following errors: F16, F22, F27. I contacted Frigidaire again, who send a different technician out to look at the issue. He explained the why the issue was occurring, saying he's noticed Frigidaire ranges tend to have issues with their electrical. He said he was going to replace all of the parts that may be causing the issue in an effort to fix the problem. He had to order the parts from Frigidaire, which took 3 weeks, and finally replaced them this Monday. The next day, the F22 error popped up again while in the middle of cooking. Pulled the oven out, unplugged it, let it sit for a minute and plugged it back in - this time an F27 error showed. I contacted Frigidaire (again) who set up another appointment with a technician to look at the issue. How many times are they going to send a tech out to fix this? From a cost perspective, they're wasting way more money on parts and labor than they would have by just replacing the oven. But at this point, I don't even want this oven. It is a constant headache wondering if it will work or not. Can't host any company because I don't know if the oven is going to work. I'd be better off to set up a campfire in my backyard and cook on that - at least I'd know it would work. Had this been a cheap oven, I'd understand the issue, but it was not a cheap oven. Would have been better off to buy a Wolf.

This review definitely would have been five stars except for the need to burn off factory residue on the cooktop. The installer and the manual does tell you to run the oven at high temperature for awhile to burn off factory residue, which we did and that went well. What it does not tell you is that the cooktop may also need to have residue burned off. We used the stove for about a week a burner or two at a time without a problem, Then one night we were using all six burners at the same time for the first time and the house filled with the smell of burring plastic., even with windows open and the exhaust hood pulling the air outside. There was no food burning. No smoke or steam. Just a strong plasticy smell. Eventually, it set off the smoke detectors prompting a call to the fire department. Out of an abundance of caution, after confirming no gas fumes and no carbon monoxide in the house, the fire department turned off the gas and electricity to the stove requiring a service call from the vendor to check everything out and restart everything. We were not happy with this experience, but since then not a problem. And we do love the stove and would recommend it to others looking for a really nice gas oven and range.

Stylish gas range

I like the design of this range and that there are six burners so you can cook few dishes at the same time. The shelf in the oven easily slides over to check on the food. Many cooking options for the oven including nice air fryer tray. The shelf at the bottom is small though, hard to store something. And the thickness of the stainless steel on the top of the range where burners are could be better considering that it is a professional version of the range.

I™€™ve been really impressed with this range so far. The six burners plus cast-iron griddle give me plenty of flexibility, and the convection and air fry modes make cooking faster and more consistent. The oven is roomy enough for big roasts or multiple trays, and the built-in temperature probe is a nice touch.The design looks sleek in stainless, and the backlit knobs are both stylish and practical. My only minor gripes are that dialing in very low simmer heat can take a little practice, and the propane conversion kit isn™€™t included.Overall, it™€™s a great balance of performance and features ™€" a big step up from a standard range. I™€™d rate it about 4.5/5.

Full featured range - looks great

Love the look of this range with the minimal display on the front gives a clean (and easy to clean) look. The 6-burner cooktop gives you lots of options from high-powered burners to smaller ones for low-heat cooking with excellent controllability and an optional grill plate for the center section included. The oven works well and has lots of features. My minor complaint would be that the Steam features using the bottom pan doesn™€™t really work as the water is largely evaporated by the time the oven gets to heat and leaves an unsightly residue.
